Freshly Squeezed: Young Dudes

Like my blogging right arm, Sean Ryan, sometimes I like it a bit Sleazy…and by “it”, I mean music (let’s leave girls out of this conversation).

Young Dudes

After four years of playing together, Minneapolis’ Young Dudes have released their first album. I arrived a few months late to the scene of their self-titled debut, but that doesn’t mean Santa’s adding me to his naughty list…it just means I’m sharing it with you now.

Like a urinal cake in the bathroom of a late-70s CBGB show, these kids have soaked it all up and spilled it back out on a vinyl and digital only release. If you like what I’ve shared below, click here to pick up a copy.

Best urinal cake-related simile in a post referencing me, ever.

Thanks, Sean. I try to be quote-worthy from time to time…not very often though.

  3. Dr. Winston Says:

A friend of mine bought their record. We put it on. After the second song took it off and stuck Wrigley’s Doublemint gum on it. It at least sounded like something resembling something good then.
