I guess we are getting near the silly season where albums are concerned. Especially with the TV adverts that I’m enduring over here in the UK. Well, I took on the role of featuring the UK album chart every week…this week is very painful where the Top 10 are concerned.
New entry at #1: Westlife - Back Home. For anyone who has not endured this sickly boy band, a few words of advice: don’t bother.
Next new entry #4: Mc Fly - Greatest Hits Think junior Westlife…not for me.
New entry at #8: Boyz II Men - Motown Hitsville USA. Getting the picture so at last something worth reporting.
New entry #11: The Wombats - A Guide To Love, Loss, and Desperation. A good album from this Liverpool up and coming indie band. I have a feeling they could be big news in 2008.
New at #18: Blake - Blake.
New at #22: Amy Whinehouse - Back to Black (deluxe edition) .
#23: Sigur Ros - Hvarf/Heim. This is my album of the week. I really like these guys.
