Feist kicks SNL’s ass

SNL peformances tend to be a mixed bag. I haven’t seen a truly amazing one in quite a while (anyone remember Elvis Costello’s infamous appearance back in ‘77?). SNL is far removed from it’s exciting early days, when things felt a bit more unpredictable - both in the musical and comedic departments. That being said, Feist really gave it her all on last night’s show. As did Brian Williams in his stint as host, surprisingly. She gives ‘1234′ just the right amount of live kick to step it up from the album version. Listen below alongside her second performance of ‘I Feel it All’.

I could not agree more. Her performance is a highlight of the season so far. And Brian Williams was actually FUNNY, too!

    God, she’s sexy!

  3. Nate Says:

Um, why’d she go and switch around the verses on 1234? No thanks.

  4. Steve Craig Says:

LOL @ “no thanks”. Nobody’s asking your permission. Um, why shouldn’t she perform her song any way she wants to? Did you pay for the performance? Did anyone there pay for it? No. So sit back, relax, open a cold one and just….enjoy.

Why does everyone have to be a critic all the time?

Them’s a lot of rules, Steve.
